Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm**
**The Court is closed on legal holidays and due to budget cuts the Court will also be closed the second Friday of each month.

March 9 – Closed Furlough
March 30 – Closed Cesar Chavez Day
April 13 – Closed Furlough
May 11 – Closed Furlough
May 28 – Closed Memorial Day

About the Tempe Municipal Court

The Tempe Municipal Court is the judicial branch of Tempe City government. The Presiding Judge is appointed by the Mayor and City Council, pursuant to the City Charter. The Court is of limited jurisdiction and deals with misdemeanors, petty offenses, and civil violations, including traffic and City ordinances. The court also issues orders of protection and injunctions against harassment.
